PPL Foundation donates $500,000 to Operation HELP to assist families with energy bills

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (June 30) - The PPL Foundation today announced a $500,000 contribution to Operation HELP, a PPL Electric Utilities Corporation program that provides financial assistance to help income-eligible families that are struggling with their energy bills.

With inflation impacting all sectors of the economy, including energy, the contribution to Operation HELP will provide direct assistance to families.

“Rising costs have presented new challenges for many individuals and families, and PPL Foundation’s contribution will help ease the burden for some of the most vulnerable in central and eastern Pennsylvania,” said Ryan Hill, president of the PPL Foundation.

Operation HELP is administered by a network of local agencies and has helped more than 110,000 customers since 1983. Every dollar contributed to Operation HELP goes to assisting those in need with their energy bills.
