PPL Electric Utilities will attend customer assistance event in Scranton

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (May 5, 2026) – PPL Electric Utilities will attend a free customer assistance event on Wednesday, May 6, to share with PPL Electric customers all available assistance programs and eligibility guidelines that qualify them for support with their electric bills. 

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 500 S. Washington Ave., Scranton, PA 18505.  

PPL Electric representatives will be available to answer questions about payment assistance programs, including the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which ends May 8, as well as Operation HELP and OnTrack. Support will also be available to help customers with the application process. 

Customers who plan to attend should bring proof of identification, proof of income for residents in their household and their bill account numbers.
